Infographic Design for The Business School at The University of Law
The Business School at The University of Law approached to us for some very complicated infographics.
The task was quite challenging, as the client required a word cloud which is consist of around 100 phrases, with different lengths; the phrases also needed to be with similar font sizes, and there are some very strict brand guidelines to follow. And inevitably, it is a bigger organisation, so there were several decision makers and everyone had different opinions towards the design.
But we have managed to put everything together, and produced some infographics which totally met the client’s expectations. We built a “word cloud pyramid” with seven levels, each level represents a hue of the rainbow. We worked with the team closely, adjusted the phrases accordingly to make sure all the 100 phrases were fit in the pyramid shape properly.
This project has proved that, being a creative agency, it’s more than designing something pretty, the key is to understand the brief, communicate with the clients, give the most suitable guidance.
The word cloud pyramid is for educational purposes, it is also displayed on the company website. And we have also produced a simplified version for mobile devices.
